PANS MG 4 [Could not find reference when at PANS; UNB Microfilm Reference: MIC-Loyalist FC LCR .N6P3H3R4] - 4 microfilm reels of textual records (9 books) ; 35 mm. St. Paul's Church is known as the oldest Protestant church in Canada. Open air services were held in 1749 until the church was built and opened for use in 1750. An act was passed by the Legislature in 1759 constituting the Parish of St. Paul. St. John's Church, Lunenburg, is the second oldest Protestant church in Nova Scotia. It was built in 1754. Contents: 
- Reel 1 includes: burials, christenings and weddings, 1749-1792; deaths, 1791-1802, 1818-1834. 
- Reel 2 includes: baptisms, 1753-1795; marriages, 1775-1794; burials, 1775-1794; St. John's Church, Lunenburg: burials, 1749-1905; marriages, 1750-1865; baptisms, 1747, 1749-1851 (not all filmed in this order).

 - Reel 2 has two separate sections: Book A includes lists of marriages, published banns, baptisms, confirmations, communicants, burials, church wardens, and even detailed collection and expenditure records, 1785-1813. The registers and records in this part of the reel are not arranged in any consistent chronological order. The remainder of the second reel is organized as follows: baptisms, 1813-1837, 1828-1849, 1852-1929; marriages, 1813-1853, 1853-1928; and burials, 1813-1883, 1878-1923. RG 20 "A" 1782, November , (William Randal/Samuel Sparrow) 1782-24 is the number for the original manuscript, but it has been re-filed as 1782-26. 1782-26 [or 27 or 28] is the microfilm version (Microfilm 15685) which is dated November, 1782. Unfortunately the microfilm copy is spoiled, and the original [actually it is a negative photocopy as the original may be lost] must be used. The soiled microfilm copy goes as follows: Nov 1782 ... ...
