  • On  Saturday, August 21, together with Lynda Krause (research transcript assistant), I visited King's Landing, the idea being to identify any features of use for the interpretation programmes of the Fortress of Louisbourg (Louisbourg, Nova Scotia - e.g. wooden gutters) and the Jost House (Sydney, Nova Scotia - A Sparrow owned building).
  • Although King's Landing claims it represents 19th century New Brunswick, several of its extant [moved to this site] buildings show features reminiscent of the late 18th century. Several examples might be the beaded wainscot of the late 19th Century Agricultural Hall (the chair-rails are reproductions) and the Jost-like cupboard closet next to the kitchen fireplace of the 1880 Hagerman House
