Dyck, Dr. Victor J. 91 years, passed away peacefully on Friday May 18, 2012 at Leamington District Memorial Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Dyck (1998). Dear father of Gary Dyck (Judith), Eileen Omstead (Jim), Maureen Currie (Dave Van Huyse), Jeff Dyck (Maria). Loving grandfather of Tara and Dale Brown, Shondra and Chris Peters, Brooke and Whit Thiele, Justin and Carrie Dyck, Jeremy, Kelly and Zachary Currie, Mike Van Huyse, Taylor and Jordan Dyck. Loving great grandfather of Mya, Emma and Brody Brown, Alexa and Isla Thiele, Nathaniel Peters and predeceased by Annabelle and Quinten Peters. Dear brother of the late Rudy, George, Edgar, Harry and Ann Dyck, Agnes Bremsteller and Helen Sawatsky. Victor was a chiropractor in Leamington from 1950 until his retirement. He was also a longstanding member of Erie Shores Golf & Country Club. Visitation at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street Leamington on Monday 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate his life, from the funeral home on Tuesday May 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. Rev. Victor Dyck was my 2nd cousin through our grandmothers who were Enns sisters, his was Anna Enns and mine Margaretha Enns. (daughters Jacob Ens, Anna Wiebe)
Anna Enns married Gerhard F. Dyck.... Jacob Dyck ... Victor Dyck.
Margaretha Enns married Johann Peter Dueck. ... my mom Margaret ... Louise
Victor was the son of Jacob Dyck and Katharina Goertzen.

Louise (Mathies) Ross is my Aunt as she was the sister of my mother Annie (Mathies) Krause, so thus Victor Dyck was also her 2nd cousin through their grandmothers who were Enns sisters, his was Anna Enns and mine Margaretha Enns. (daughters Jacob Ens, Anna Wiebe), etc. as above in Louise's account

So therefore, identified in the above Dr. Victor J. Dyck obituary, Eileen Dyck, wife of Jim Omstead, and dear friend, is a relative of mine!
